This 2025 M2M '56 Les Paul from the Murphy Lab is a masterclass in vintage-inspired tone, wrapped in one of the boldest finishes Gibson has ever applied—Gold Sparkle with ultra-light aging. The aging is beautifully subtle: think case-worn edges, light lacquer checking, and gentle tarnish that gives this guitar instant soul without overdoing it.
The chunky “C” neck feels substantial and vintage-authentic, giving you loads of sustain and resonance, especially with the hot hide glue construction and non-weight-relieved body.
