What really makes this model unique are the electronics. The '60s Custom Shop single-coils in the neck and middle provide that signature Strat warmth and clarity, while the EVH Wolfgang humbucker in the bridge takes the tone to a whole new level. Ben was blown away by the versatility of this setup.The Wolfgang humbucker delivers a thick, punchy sound with loads of output, perfect for heavier styles. He pointed out how the combination of pickups makes this guitar a tonal powerhouse—you get the classic Strat tones in positions 1-4, but when you switch to the bridge, it’s like flipping the switch to full-on rock mode. It’s really a best-of-both-worlds setup.
