Personal Reflection
This one’s really something special. The Seafoam Green finish immediately grabs attention, but it’s the subtlety of the Journeyman Relic work that really shines here—just enough wear to feel vintage without feeling overdone. Personally, I love how natural it looks, and the rosewood slabboard adds a classic feel. The HW's '50s pickups sound incredible; they’ve got that warm, bell-like tone with just the right amount of grit when pushed. This Fender Custom Shop 59 Stratocaster Seafoam Green is dripping with '50s Strat character.
 
Ben’s had his hands on it and, unsurprisingly, he’s all about the neck. The 59 "D" shape feels incredibly comfortable, and the satiny finish on the back makes it effortless to move up and down the fretboard. It’s one of those necks that you just bond with right away—no sticky gloss, just smooth playability.
 
Condition Report
As a brand new Custom Shop import, the guitar is in flawless condition straight from the factory. The relic job is all intentional, with no damage or wear beyond the tasteful aging from Fender’s Custom Shop. Everything, from the electronics to the hardware, works perfectly, and the guitar is ready to perform both on stage and in the studio.
